The weight of such a revelation culminates on Halloween, Max's favorite holiday. The depressing nostalgia of his trick-or-treating years takes over, as Max's mind becomes more and more entangled with the sadness of saying goodbye.

The legend of the Pigman began in the 70's, but still haunts the locals and everyone who travels down the road.
